Karl-May-Museum displays apart
from the reception room, a study and a library, one of Europe's
outstanding collection of attractive museum items from the life and
culture of the American First Nation. With the help of our members,
friends and supporters it was possible to finish the delicate restauration
of a birch canoe of Ojibwa's, which after 16 years of absence represents
one of the Museum's attractions. At the same time an archive library on
the subject of North America's Red Indians is being prepared and books
collected dealing predominantly with ethnographic themes from
Karl-May-Museum collection, their cultural and historical background, and
the necessary basic scientific facts.
